Bud Stoner

Drummer and Farmer

Bud Stoner is a man who marches, or rather, drum-rolls to his own beat.

When he's not keeping perfect time behind his drum kit, you'll find him knee-deep in hemp fields, chatting with his crops like they’re long-lost friends.

A self-proclaimed “hemp whisperer”, Bud swears that his flawless rhythms are a result of syncing his drumming patterns with the natural sway of the plants.

Despite his laid-back demeanor, Bud has an uncanny knack for solving band arguments - usually by offering profound advice like, “Just leaf it alone, man.”

His dream? To one day record a drum solo inside a giant hemp greenhouse.

Other groups Bud has worked with.

Plaid Sabbath

This grunge-meets-lumberjack ensemble gained notoriety for their flannel themed stage outfits and their hit single ‘Chopping Down Love’. They nearly made it big until Bud left to pursue competitive wood carving, taking all the band’s axes - musical and literal - with him.

Metal Detektor

Combining heavy metal with beach vibes, they achieved mild success with their metal-detecting anthems like ‘Searching for a Hit’ and ‘Gold-Plated Dreams’. The band broke up after their lead guitarist was accused of stealing pocket change from audience members mid-performance.

Unforgettable Moments

Drumming in the Fields

During one of his “hemp whispering” sessions, Bud decided to test the theory that hemp plants respond to sound. Armed with a pair of drumsticks and a makeshift drum made out of a hemp barrel, he played a solo so intense that the farm's goats started headbanging in unison. Bud now swears they were his first real audience.

The Great Hemp Heist

Once, he accidentally fell asleep in the back of a delivery truck transporting hemp bales. When the truck arrived at its destination, Bud popped out and startled the workers when he said; “I’m just making sure the cargo feels appreciated.”
